Michael’s Moore New Movie

October 3, 2009

I was watching T.V and a movie commercial came up talking about the economic crisis were facing it turned out to be a Michael Moore movie called Capitalism: A Love Story. Michael Moore an American filmmaker, author, and liberal political commentator. Director and producer of many controversial documentaries like Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine. I personally think all his movies are great because they focus on a point and dig deep to find out the truth of that idea. Like most people I’m pretty excited to see how this movie will be because many questioned a lot of people for the economic downfall America had. So this will have to be a movie that many would want to see. This movie will have a lot of people talking and will hopefully make the economic downfall clearer to many that didn’t understand what was really going on. But their will be also those who will call this movie a complete lie and waste of time.

This movie came out yesterday and for what I hear many liked it they said it was funny and pretty interesting. Everyone has different point of views toward different movies especially documentaries. But one thing is certain that everyone will be talking about this movie for a very long time. It is a fact that this movie will have many controversies whether its fact or fiction because no other movies has been made talking about the economic downfall.

Kanye West helps his career and Taylor Swift’s

September 18, 2009

I really wasn’t aware of the whole Kanye West thing that happened at the VMA’s, until I heard it being talked about in all my classes. So I checked it out in youtube and saw it. The first thing that popped in my head when I saw it, it must’ve been rehearsed or already planned out. In my opinion it didn’t really look real like if it naturally came out it looked more like if it was thought out and planned. Not only are people talking about it but each singer is getting even more fame and is being talked about everywhere. People mention them everywhere in T.V., radio, online, etc.

Before, this happened nobody really mentioned Kanye West or Taylor Swift that often. But now in almost every radio station I hear songs of both singers are played and online blog’s and surveys are talking about the whole incident. I believe it was more like a strategic move to receive in both parts. People who really didn’t know who Taylor Swift is will be more curious in finding out and buying her CD’s. Also Taylor Swift being a new singer will boost up her career. Either way if it was planned out or was something that just happened in the moment Kanye West actually helped him and Taylor Swift career. In a couple months we will see both of the singer’s songs being on the top hits and their albums too.

Mysace slowly fading away.

September 11, 2009

Two days ago I walked into the verizon phone because my phone wasn’t working and I had to get a new one. So I got my new blackberry, as I was checking my blackberry I saw that it had the Facebook application. That’s nothing uncommon when it comes to blackberries or any other phones. But I thought how come Myspace application doesn’t come already downloaded, unlike facebook that’s already downloaded and installed. But I realized that facebook was becoming the next big thing to online chatting. So later that day as I going through every channel trying to find something interesting to watch, I stopped at a channel and saw a facebook commercial. I realized that slowly facebook is taking over and will sooner or later take over knocking its competition; Myspace. As I recall I’ve never seen a Myspace commercial before or anything on promoting the use of Myspace.

You know when your professor asks your class to exchange emails or cell phones with your other classmates. Well in one of my classes we were exchanging our information. But some people weren’t asking for cell phone numbers or emails. They were asking each other whether they had a facebook or not. I noticed that no one even mentioned if they had a Myspace or not. So I found that interesting because in my high school class last year people weren’t asking for facebook. They were asking whether or not you had a Myspace.

Although Myspace has been in the game longer it seems that Facebook will take over. Facebook is smarter and uses its resources to its best of its abilities. If Myspace wants to continue it has to step up and go for the commercials and advertisements, in order to keep its users. Both Facebook and Myspace attract people of all ages and are both used worldwide. Myspace needs to notice its competition and keep up or else facebook will take over the game.
